The Kennesaw State University Alumni Association recognizes that interacting with students and building relationships within our student body will lead to more engaged alumni.
As a part of fulfilling our mission to the University and building alumni engagement, the Alumni Association offers a variety of programs to assist students in their academic and personal growth. Many of the Association's student initiatives connect current Owls with alumni creating meaningful experiences for all involved.
It is the goal of the Association to instill in students the importance of staying active in the life of the University after they leave.
The KSU Alumni Association offers a several opportunites for students to learn the value of active engagement with alumni and community.
STARS - In collaboration with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, the Alumni Association co-leads a student groups whose focus centers around engaging alumni and current students in the recruiting process for prospective students.
Clutch Council - Clutch Council is designed to engage students and create awareness on campus about the Alumni Association. The organization's sole purpose is to illustrate to current students the value of active engagement with the Alumni Association before and after graduation.
Mentoring - Working in collaboration with Career Services and a number of campus units, alumni are matched with current students providing rewarding mentoring relationships that support the growth of students personally and professionally.
63 Days Until Graduation - Created to draw attention to the University's founding in 1963 while also adding to the anticipation of graduation, the Alumni Association offers innovative and creative programming in collaboration with on and off-campus partners for each of the 63 days preceding the University's commencement exercises.
Recognition at Commencement - At each of the University's commencement ceremonies, representatives from the Alumni Association present each graduate with a small gift to congratulate them on earning a Kennesaw State degree.
